I worked and went to school in Winston Salem. I’ll tell you that at my first job at a newspaper, one of the mayors of the surrounding towns/county called and said they didn’t want a black person covering their town halls. So, if people downplay the racism part of this, you are not looking at all of the angles.

Democrats will be fine unless Trump outlaws elections in 2018. Because those same people will find that the jobs didn’t appear. They never were going to appear. And you know what? They’ll just slink off somewhere and do meth in the corner and not vote.

Pull yourself up by your boostraps is the message that conservatives gave other economically depressed areas. Why should rural America be any different?

If they could learn a different skill they would have already done so and none of them would have been whining about “took our jobs!”

They are not going to cut into their profit margin though. You know why? Because unlike some rube in the sticks, Apple has the money to pay for the ear of the Congress. The rubes have no money. They have votes, which can easily be manipulated (see the trans bathroom law in NC).

These people would just as soon kill you than accept your “love”. They don’t want your love, they want your undying fealty to them.

Again with this bullshit?! Minorities have a higher rate of unemployment — across all educational lines — than white people. White people are the first hired and the last fired in this country. They are not distressing economically. The voters who put Trump over the top make over 70k a year. They doing just fine.
