“We’ve seen some theories as to why men persist in slacking off on the domestic labor front”
I don’t think that it’s a “generation” problem.
What wrong with such a simple question? Is it really that hard to come up with a (personal) answer for it?
Gender hurts women. The concept of gender was invented to create a hierarchy that places men on top.

Except that language was created for communication purposes, not to oppress a group a people like gender was. Nice false equivalence you got there.
“Gender refers to the attitudes, feelings, and behaviors that a given culture associates with a person’s biological sex.”
You’re a statutory rapist, yes?
You keep forgetting to mention the link between “gender” and “gender identity”.
“Sex refers to a person’s biological status and is typically categorized as male, female, or intersex (i.e., atypical combinations of features that usually distinguish male from female). There are a number of indicators of biological sex, including sex chromosomes, gonads, internal reproductive organs, and external…
Beesandry!!!
“To my question, are you arguing that there should simply be no definition of gender?”
“Gender identity is defined as a personal conception of oneself as male or female”
“No, you want to believe that a woman stops being a woman if she ever has to have an oophorectomy-hysterectomy. Because parts > people.”
Gender identity is simply part of your internal reference of self.
I have already said plenty of times that trans-women are biologically male, were socialized as males, and benefit from male privilege. They are not women and will never understand what it’s like to be born and socialized as female.
What is gender identity? What is gender expression? What is the cause of gender roles?
“a trans woman was never biologically male in the first place.”
Yikes.
“but, yes, I do think they should be really clear with themselves about why they’re making that choice.”
