They are great for being embedded.

These are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to have a fair comparison to Chromebit...
This is the 2nd cellphone with optical zoom from Samsung...
Will not win any style contest but you can’t claim Asus is the 1st one.

I wonder if any followup study has been made.
I mean, is almost common sense that putting a light where normally there wasn’t one will stand out... how about now that every car has it, would the same effect be noticeable? Or once we get used to it its advantage just fades away?
That’s Divine, in Pink Flamingos... And that movie is way more WTF than this.
Ha, they are already making fireproof cases:
Thats sad... I really want to buy one (probably a cheap one, as according to my online research even the expensive ones are not-safe) but I want my house (and my cat) not-burned more than that.
I wish these chinese manufacturers start selling fireproof cases... problem solved.
Widgets are amazing... Well, the good ones at least.
Good enought to win a very partial marketing contest: https://skatter.com/2012/03/i-won-…
NOOOO, the 150$ pricetag is also a great advantage.
Half the price... is a good advantage for me.
This stick IS a regular x86 computer, jut smaller, so it has the same support / driver support than any laptop... Oh, and you can use a hub if you need.
IMHO voice control sucks in any way or form... just like 3d TV.
I also do content creation and have a powerful computer for that (ok, lets stop calling it REAL, computer, this stick IS a real computer, and way more advanced than the, also real, computers I had 10 years ago... and these still being called computers)
Then…
So you dont want a computer, you want a set-top box, there are plenty of them out there. This is not one of them.
Are you in 2010?

I (my company) bought 3 already (not all from intel) to transform some holographic projectors into autonomous devices (eliminate the need to plug a computer on it), and I’m buying 5 more this week.
We will also try these new versions to check with they…
What are you talking about? Windows came pre-installed.
And are you really asking what can you accomplish with Windows?
Letting alone heavy visual editing, (no computer power for that, thats the reason for the newer models) it can do anything.
Wanna talk with it? Just connect a bluetooth handsfree and talk to cortana!
Its a x86 computer, not a set-top-box... so its not comparable in any way to Apple TV or chromecast.
But it is comparable to the hundreds of HTPC out there.
Also you can install any OS you want.
It came with a small HDMI extension, you would have no problems hiding it.
“We own those satellites and could easily prevent them from using them.”
Are you sure? Couldn’t find the info online but I would guess you can’t even know where the connection is located... and some providers even let you do your own installation.
Also, I could swear other countries also have satellites... maybe Russia,…
