I’m literally dizzy.
It’s like if the rules for the board game Clue stated that the game ended when all of the facts (criminal, location, and weapon) were revealed, but you weren’t allowed to state them together in a declarative sentence. In fact, if you did, you’d be automatically disqualified and then publicly raked over the coals by a…
Highly encourage everyone to read all of his tweets tonight. Even more insane than this one
Number one- I don’t think she cost them a dime. Did any sponsors drop out?
What? Just what the fuck?
“Your move.” OMG, dying over here.
What’s your point?
Exactly. Therefore Obama made no progress against ISIS in his first year in office!
I don’t understand what point you are trying to make unless you think that a tweet from a personal twitter account is closer to a news report than an editorial.
Had a morning meeting in NYC. Rushing down the streets, I stepped in what I know was vomit. As this meeting involved me setting up my computer, crawling on the floor under the table plugging in various cables, the thought of doing that with vomit-encrusted shoes was sickening to this germaphobe. On my way to the…
“Would a black woman who wanted to rap have been told to do pop instead? Would a black woman, even one from Australia, be told she wasn’t welcome?”
Clover’s shtick? I’m confused.... what does that mean? Clover rarely does snark, I didn’t go into this article thinking she was going to tear her down whatsoever... it was well researched and thoughtful. I just feel like we must be reading two different authors.
ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming). People are dumping it in RECORD numbers. Apologize for untruth!
Disagree all you want. You’re wrong. Either you’re white or white aligned to not see that people spent a decade of time and money on this broad’s “dream career” while gently trying to tell her she wasn’t good enough to be a rapper by trying give (GIVE) her a pop career (as opposed to no fucking career at all because…
How in the fuck is calling someone a white supremacist or a bigot considered racist?
Takeaway: There are some dumb MFers at ESPN. Seriously, one person can’t see the difference between the Lin incident (which involved an unwarranted racial slur
- that might have been an accident, sure) and a label (supremacist) ostensibly based on a person’s actual past activities?
Our country has moved so far to the right that people who openly call themselves “conservatives” are basically authoritarians. It isn’t about consistency in the law, it’s about using your power to silence people you don’t like.
If she’s a fan of gansta rap and gansta rappers, is there a way that she can become a part of that culture if she was born into another one and in another place? I think it seems possible but only if she doesn’t use it as Halloween, but if it is a day-in day-out kind of world for her.
She compares herself to Keith Urban, but Keith Urban doesn’t go around pretending to be a redneck and adopting a fake Southern accent.
