This makes sense to me. Whenever we see assault scenes in movie, they are still sexualized and made somewhat-swallowable by the public. I haven’t seen this movie but maybe this movie was more real about what real rape looks like then most Hollywood movies who tend to still glorify the sexual objectification of women…
