They did nothing wrong. The video was newsworthy even if putting it in their site was morally repulsive (like a lot of things Gawker does, including their vendetta against James Franco and Lena Dunham and a lot of other things).

When a lawsuit is successful, it doesn't mean it won because it was right. That was the case here.
