I'm with you. I think what un did it was that it was shot like a tv movie or tv show (lighting, framing). But it has great action. Jonathan Mostow was always good at that.

Stop trying to defend Genysis Dowd. Just stop it. In Genisys we find Sarah Connor not as the " tough-as-nails action heroine of T2", but as a whiny, bratty teenager who can't even hold a gun.
