As a long time BMW owner (E46 328, 330 ZHP, 135, X1, M3, i3(x2), X5 PHEV) my problem with them is not that they aren’t electrifying fast enough. It’s smart to be somewhat cautious and deliver a killer project rather than rush things out the door.

Even the window stickers, that were usually optimistic. showed lower MPG for their passenger car than full size pickups from other U.S. manufacturers. Built in the 80's, they might be considered good on fuel by 70's standards.
