I dunno. I compiled this outfit of unlockable rewards from Red Dead Redemption and Halo Reach. Not pictured is the Portal gun I earned in Portal 2. It's very satisfying to unlock avatar awards and it looks pretty snazzy too IMO. Especially considering I wouldn't have bought any of it anyway.

I'm a total convert. I've got the wheel and I will never again play a driving game on 360 without it. There's just no going back.

To expand on my earlier point: When my friends come over to visit in my neighborhood, they insist on driving to all the places I would usually walk to. I can't convince them that it's just not worth it to drive a half a mile. It really is hopeless.

I remember killing a dog or two in the first level of Contra 3 about 20 years ago, back in Nintendo's babysitter days. Even family-friendly Nintendo didn't see a problem with this. Times have changed!

My avatar wears only unlockable reward avatar clothes. It's cooler to sport something you earned by playing a game than something you spent real money on. The unlockable rewards usually look a lot cooler than anything you can buy anyways.

Come to think of it, you could kick and even kill all types of animals in Red Dead Redemption, including dogs. I don't recall anyone crying about that.
