I've only ever played Crysis 2 (360), and got distracted early on by other games I already was addicted to. Seems like a cool game with very pretty graphics. I haven't played it in a few months though. Would I appreciate it more after playing the first one? Is the first one better?

I think politics are needlessly divisive. So, yes, I agree that all [political] parties suck, but they still manage to have all the power.

Just loaded up Blackthorne for 32x yesterday to show a friend how you could shoot the innocents with the shotgun just for kicks with no consequences in such an old game. He was surprised.

A shame, yes, but it's published by Microsoft, and there's a Warthog in it, so what did you expect?
Maybe a kid here and there lost an eye to lawn darts, but (I believe that) it's good to introduce maturity-level-appropriate, semi-dangerous toys that require some level of personal responsibility... especially as a precursor to owning something dangerous that's not a toy, like a car.
