*checks watch* Uh, that was twelve years ago and they’ve lost so many elections since then that the Republicans are a few seats away from being able to rewrite the Constitution at will.

The Democrats losing almost 20% of the state legislatures in 2010 is the source of our current gerrymandering problems. And the loss of all those Senate seats and Governorships has nothing to do with gerrymandering.

You mean after the Republicans caused the biggest recession the US has experienced since the Great Depression? Yeah, let’s not use that as a tactic to motivate voters if we can help it.

Crowley held that seat for 20 years and is the model candidate for the donor class. He outspent her by millions. He hasn’t been challenged in a primary in years and was knocked out by a working class Socialist in her twenties.

Right? “Everyone who is going progressive seems to be getting more and more support, and our base really wants medicare for all. But fuck them, and those peasants.”

Tell me what district wouldn’t want 80-90% of this. Why can’t Dems run on progressive shit? Because, Iowa? Because, coal mines? Dems should be yelling these all day, every day, and the ones that don’t or can’t can go lie down somewhere.
