I'm surprised the Passat didn't score higher. Handling is the best in the midsized 4 door sedan segment, offers a 6 speed manual stick diesel (or DSG auto), 5 speed manual gas with a turbo and a v6 with a dual clutch auto. Yeah the infotainment sucks, but everything else is top notch.

Golf R isnt configurable because it hasn't even been launched. Only the pre orders are here. Same with the new Golf Sportwagen.

This is the one car that I (if I had money) would not care if it came in a manual or not.

Me personally, I'd get the base model, gas, stick. Throw some 19 inch VMR wheels and coil overs and you're done.
