It's hacky bullshit. There's no goddamn cure just let it be and let Jorah go out like a hero propping up the wall as he turns to stone.

I tried hard with True Blood and Lizzy Caplan's assets helped me a long the way but when I realised Deborah Ann Woll was never getting them out I had to bail.
Aside from it being nerdy as fuck why is it so bad? Hint - list ticking of pop-culture touchstones is nerdy as fuck
I mean it's nerdy as fuck but it's not actively bad, unless one thinks nerdy as fuck is bad in which case why the heck would you be vistiting the AV Club?
Swap the second two words round and, well, I can dream.
While all plot threads need to reduce and streamline as a story reaches its conclusions the pace at which its happening is completely at odds with the rest of the show and it's giving everything a hacky rushed sort of feel. Like DnB can't wait to be done with this world.
It's good that people are mentioning Cutter's Way but I think Cat People is equally worthy of note for Heard. He's brilliant as the film's comment on misogyny and men's fear of female sexuality in a film that ends up being incredibly feminist despite Schrader's usual calvinist outlook.
Chiming in on the Cutter's Way and Cat People love. The former in particular is a stone cold classic that's been largely forgotten.
That makes total sense for a general news site but for a pop culture site AVC should have been leading with Cutter's Way and it isn't even mentioned.
True, true. Comment cheerfully withdrawn.
Oh, I get it… you're threatened by jokes on your PC. It'll be okay.
I did it for you GIII, all for youuuuu.
Again, I must agree.
That is true.
your joke is fine.
An entire article of fanwank? Really?
Ah so thats why Lena Dunham is in it. Oh sorry you said "cult".
That'd suggest there's an epidemic of athletes being violent but stats don't really show that. I'm happy to be shown stuff that says otherwise though because what you say does make sense.
It's not an aberration but it's also not something all adults engage in and they haven't all been held accountable for violent actions.
Obviously the whole "it can be two things" deal. But also - never held accountable doesn't explain why violent in the first place, the concussion issue might. Obviously that isn't an excuse for what OJ most likely did and definitely did but not being held responsible doesn't cause violence.
