I think they empty in to a barrel, and then they get sealed for a long period of time, eventually the waste is entirely composted and they can be emptied. I read that too about the materials that are used to cover waste and such. I also would require a typical toilet, but at least they aren’t so bad as they seem.

You do! We bought a house last year and because it’s a small town in the prairies, we got massive house for cheap and now we have to put something in it. So half of its empty.
