The Disney version of this story was one of 100s. Fairy Tales are constantly rewritten, as times change so do the stories. I do hope that this story has been adapted for a more contemporary audience. I will definitely give it a chance.

Well it depends on the version. The Disney version is very different than many of the older versions.

I don’t think that charges should be dropped. But that her feelings and the total of 30 plus years of harassment from the media (bease they fucked up) should be a factor in what happens now. Her well being should be a factor. Just like I would not support forcing a victim to testify if her well being was at stack.

I never said they should let him off either. But what has to this woman for 30 plus years is horrible. They seriously fucked up, and at some point they need to consider the damage they are causing the victim. So should media outlets who continually publish details of her rape.

They take the victims feelings in to account all the time when there are plea deals. And they should. He absolutely deserves punishment but to say the victim doesn’t matter in this is crazy.

You think that the feelings of the victim are not important? The media has been tormenting her for decades, why are her feelings irrelevant?

I read it is because he can’t visit his daughter in London and he wants to visit his wife’s grave.

One thing that really makes me uncomfortable about this is that the wishes of the are victim are completely disregarded. This was absolutely a cluster fuck but all she wants is to move on and no one seems to want to let her. I’m glad he is coming back to settle this for her sake maybe now people will let her move on.
