No it isn’t. I never said trans women should be denied the same privileges as other female inmates. I simply said that these particular privileges are sterotypical bs and that frankly I see no reason why there should be any difference for any prisoners regardless of gender.

That’s a pretty standard wait time actually. It is the same for reduction/ necessary tummy tucks. Some times you can get a doctor’s note that will allow you go outside of the province if wait times are shorter else where.

It’s probably not legal exactly. Technically even women only gyms have to allow men if they make a fuss. Even though they may say they aren’t allowed, most people just don’t push it. It’s illegal to ban anyone based on gender (at least in Canada).
