His critique of Horowitz is unfair, as he really did try to stop things as soon as he figured out what was going on. What’s unforgivable from the La La Land crew is, if you rewatch the video, by the time the third producer goes up to give a speech (the one who is like “oh yeah we lost” or whatever), he already knew

It needs to be said that Beatty made a cowardly move. I saw the error, stammered hoping someone would bail him out and then instead of pointing out the error, he handed it, like a live grenade, to Dunaway, hoping that maybe just maybe La La Land was the actual winner and it would all be okay.

I cut him a lot of slack,

Eh. I get it. It sucks. But there’s a way to handle it and I don’t think he did it well. Instead it came off as he was a sore loser because “La La Land” was touted as the winner from the very beginning.

Except he DID basically spit into the microphone. He wasn’t even speaking (much less the last to speak!) - he ran over and started yelling. He obviously wasn’t angry at Moonlight but at the Academy and tried to save it with “I’m happy to give my award to the Moonlight team” while nodding toward the audience, asking

Totally disagree (and agree with the writer). Horowitz was ridiculous and childish - basically yelling into the microphone as if he was elected to do the job (he spoke 1st and the 3rd guy was up there). He yanked the card out of Warren’s hand who was trying to provide it.

I just watched the whole thing again and it seems like the 3rd guy was told that Moonlight had won (or at least that La La Land hadn’t won) before he started making his speech, so that was kind of a dick move on his part to continue as if they were the winners.

I felt badly for Warren Beatty especially in that moment.

The way he grabbed the envelope from Beatty was kind of a dickish move.

He’s trying to justify what happened to him by pretending that spouting “un-PC” crap means he wasn’t raped as a kid.

I think Bill let few things slide in the interview in pursuit of his agenda. Milo came off as a caricature - flamboyant and provocative just for fun with no real ideology. In my opinion, Milo looked like an idiot and that’s a good thing.

Forgiveness takes time. I am working on forgiving them for the Good Wife finale. I’m just not there yet. Check back with me in the Fall, Good Fight.

I haven’t started the most recent season of Suits, but it’s on my DVR. Is it really flailing?

The series didn’t just lose its characters and their relationships. It lost the ability to execute tension in seemingly mundane situations. The last episode I really liked was in Season 5 when everyone pulled the trigger on leaving the firm and they had to steal all the files before being discovered.

The show never

It is stunning how many comments rip this guy. Did you all not watch the show they were on together? She was a royal bitch to him constantly, knowing she was being filmed- and she exaggerated so much. Not the most trustworthy source to chronicle his many outrageous misdeeds. There are tabloids quoted here. The really

But Bethenny was mean and nasty before Jason Hoppy though.

I think they are both abusive assholes.

“Bethenny’s just louder and doesn’t try to hide the not-great parts of her personality.”

Bethenny’s been acting awful because she’s a fucking awful person. She was awful way before she met him. Doesn’t mean he’s not awful too.

I’ve had the same issue with the commenters—every now and then there would be an article where the vast majority of regular commenters would just be falling over themselves to prove that they are objectively awful people

You forgot the train wreck that Emily was. Ugh.
