Yoshi’s Island is the second best looking game of all time, having only recently been knocked off the top by Ori And The Blind Forest, so of course it deserves billing.

If someone wants to pay me $400, I can build them a cheapo gaming PC and then they can emulate everything up to a PS1 to their hearts content. And maybe even play some newer stuff if you’re into that sort of thing.

If I can’t set the ball on fire or break the backboard, it’s not even worth a purchase.

Crunch time is ridiculous; hire more people or pace out development to where you don’t need to crunch the last four months. If your crunch time requires you to do six months of work in the same amount of weeks, delay your goddamn game by six months.

No, because emulation isn’t piracy. You can pirate when using emulators, but you can also just as easily pirate with the official hardware and it’s often cheaper pirating games on official hardware than it is doing the same on a PC.

Ashley isn’t alt-right nor does she have alt-right leanings. She’s apprehensive, prejudiced, and biased, sure, but there’s a sidequest in ME1 with actual racist humans and she speaks out against them.

It’s because games stopped teaching people through level design and enemy encounters and just opts to throw everything into tutorials and menu prompts that don’t clue you in on to the context of the mechanics.

There needs to be a game with EVE like drama and compelling gameplay to back it up.
