The Nissan Altima is the obvious answer, but there’s another that I’ve observed in my commute: Dodge Chargers. They’re getting up there in years and don’t hold value. As a result, they’re landing in buy-here pay-here lots and being snatched up by idiots.
Hummer EV.
Any Hummer that isn’t owned by an actual government military agency.
Such empathy here. She probably couldn’t roll down a window or open a door. It’s also impossible to know how someone would react in a situation like this until it happens.
That is some goddamn cult like (or one letter away anyways) from Chao’s husband. Jesus, the man’s shitty car killed your wife, sir, why are you still fawning over him? I bet he’s up to his eyeballs in Tesla stocks.
The husband looks like if Tom Wambsgans made a wish to be a real boy.
The render is hilarious - the fabric tent is as planar as the Cybertruck, which is obviously not possible. I spend more time on my renders in grad school.
“That doesn’t sound great, but it is normal enough for a tent, I suppose”
I did not have Hank Green appears on Jalopnik on my 2024 bingo card!
A lot of people do. Jalopnik and it’s commenters like to be contrarian. If it’s popular it must be bad. But these same people here were droning on and on about how good Nardo was when it was released. If it wasn’t on rav4s and sonatas people here would probably still be talking about how good it is.
I’m not hating, I’m just asking: isn’t this story like three years old?
Eating lunch while reading a Jalopnik article that drew heavily from Devil Wears Prada was not even on my *wildest* gay bingo card for 2024. What a delight, even if the paint jobs are bleak lol
You can maybe argue that the colors were made with American buyers in mind but the nardo grey (and similar colors) were first introduced and came to prominence under European nameplates.
Somebody put it brilliantly in another comment on a previous article:
It began when Boeing took over Mcdonnell-Douglas and transplanted their board and C-suite into Boeing’s, effectively making it a MDD takeover of Boeing when it was actually Boeing that actually bought MDD.
It’s the car they* didnt want you** to have.
Media illiteracy.
The car can’t move. Now instead of just remedying the situation, the cops create a situation where the protestor has to pay to have their vehicles repaired or they have to pay to get their vehicles out of the impound lot.
