It continues to be absolutely infuriating that spoofing hasn’t been addressed by the phone companies or other powers at be. I’m fortunate to never have anything as alarming as the situation in this post, but it’s still absurd the number of spoofed calls I get that share my area code. Thankfully, I no longer live in

I think you might be hard pressed to even get a new Outback for under $30k these days. I think only the basiest of base models come in below that mark. Maybe if you’re buying slightly used (but if that’s the case, the TourX exists too).

Maybe it’s just that I’m a tall guy, but I’ve driven a Challenger a handful of times, and the visibility never even crossed my mind.  It seemed pretty reasonable to me.

My only comment is that GPUs have come down A LOT in recent months. I just bought a solid mid-tier card over thanksgiving week for $380 which would have been closer to $1000 had I bought it at the beginning of the year (granted it was on a black Friday deal). Crypto crashing has made GPUs cheaper and a lot easier to

“Let that sink in” is truly an all time lame pun, compounded with the fact that someone (possibly multiple people) had to work to make that photo op happen.

Not my personal experience, but someone just wrote up a great review on the 718 Cayman S on Reddit in the last day or so. Basically how they (like a lot of people) were super unhappy about Porsche making the switch to a turbo 4 and had essentially written it off. But then they drove one and it’s their favorite car

Recently, we’ve just use an unmodified rectangular table cloth.  Wraps around the base pretty well and you can tuck any corners in the back.  Looks fine without presents and once you start putting some down there, you can’t even tell it’s not a dedicated tree skirt.

Frunk me, daddy

I honestly don’t know much about Peugeot outside of driving them in video games, but not too long ago I came across the 508, and my goodness is it a handsome car. Definitely a wagon that would be cool to have stateside.

Not that I’ll ever drive one or probably even see one, but the upcoming Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is looking pretty ridiculous.

This is so minor, but (if memory serves) there’s a short deleted scene somewhere in the special features of the Die Hard DVD that shows why his shirt changes colors.

Retro Bowl (football) and Retro Goal (futbol) are both fun games if you’re at all nostalgic for NES sports games. Both have pretty fun gameplay that’s not super hard to pickup and also have a team management component. I don’t play them as much anymore, but have sunk a number of hours into each over the last few

I’m not at all up to date on all the behind the scenes twitter stuff, but wouldn’t someone, who wanted Musk to buy Twitter, starting their own direct competition kind of undercut the idea that they have Musk’s best interest in mind?

This makes me think of Paul Hogan’s Subaru Outback commercials, and how, when I bought a WRX in the early 2000s, I had to educated more than one friend on it being a Japanese car and not Australian.

I recently made some for a Halloween decoration and went with clear Elmer’s glue and food coloring (mostly red but a little green to yuck it up). It turned out really good!

I bought a ‘19 used last year, and definitely have lived the “is that a Buick” meme on more than one occasion. I really enjoy the car and the random looks and comments it gets. That said, I wish I had just bought one new near the end of their run when they were incentivizing the hell out of them.

I was going to say, how in the world did the SRT-4 make this list and not the STi!? I’m really not the biggest wing fan in general, but the Subaru’s wing is iconic. (The NSX is a good, if understated, choice too).

I want to say the Buick TourX, but the fact that they hardly sold any means they probably did the right thing.

Keyless entry in general is great. I love being able to leave my keys in my pocket to unlock and start my car. It’s unnecessary, (and I’m not saying you have to like it) but to deny that it adds a convenience factor is willfully ignorant. That said, I still like that I have a mechanical backup (i.e. a physical key

I dare say that it’s actually a handsome little CUV.
