I was going to say, I thought for sure there were still two more movies planned.

Being completely honest here: my wife wore me down. I was content just having one, but she really wanted a second. It also helped that my first didn’t seem to reach peak asshole stage until well after his little brother had been conceived.
I’m still in the trenches right now with an 8 month old and a very obstinate and opinionated almost 4 year old, so I’m sure I still have many mistake left to make. But, I’d say my biggest so far is falling back too often on the idea of “picking my battles”. You absolutely need to pick some battles just to maintain…
I have to use as different style now due to using wireless charging, but a basic magnetic cell phone vent mount was like my absolute favorite thing I added to my last car. It was just so minimal (basically a black, ~1.5 inch circle attached to an air vent) and dead simple to put my phone on the dash for controlling…
I’m really interested to learn more about that Ford case. Is the other 30% just the tires? Or are the victims part of that (poorly maintained tires, speeding, etc)?
adding a discreet (when not on) third brake light to my classic mustang is on the list of projects. I don’t like that I’m only relying on people seeing my two taillights get brighter.
Both heated seats and a heated steering wheel were features I thought I would never use. But whenever winter rolls around now, I find myself using them constantly. I love ventilated/cooled seats, but I’ve yet to own a car with them.
I remember being gob smacked when I originally learned the price of the LFA. They ran TV ads for the car. I knew it was going to be expensive, but I figured it was like current LC expensive. Not McLaren/Ferrari/Lamborghini expensive. Learning more about the car as time passed, I totally understood the price, but the…
2nd Gear: Now I’m no big-city business man, but selling your manufacturing plant when you’re still saying you’re going to produce a truck doesn’t exactly have the best optics.
Lots of things aren’t harmed by water that I still wouldn’t want to sit in wet.
I don’t live near one anymore, but their Mexican Gumbo used to be my go to. Basically it was that tortilla soup plus any burrito toppings you wanted in a bowl.
People sleep on Sonic (especially for breakfast), but the Supersonic Breakfast Burrito is easily one of the best fast food breakfasts you can get (and you can get it any time of day too). Eggs, cheese, sausage, tater tots, onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos all wrapped in a flour tortilla. Squirt some of their picante…
It’s been over for years now, but The Indoor Kids (Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon) was fantastic.
I was staying with my grandparents for a week when I was 7 or 8, and they took me to see Forrest Gump (thinking it was just some goofy comedy). It wasn’t traumatic for me or anything, but obviously it was a bit heavy for someone my age. Definitely raised my parents’ eyebrows when they found out.
Been struggling with this lately. It might be related to a week long family trip we just took (and just trying to get back into the normal groove), but my 3 year old seems to be having daily tantrums (hitting, screaming, throwing stuff, etc.). It’s one thing when he’s not being purposefully destructive and just…
I don’t disagree with your premise, but I believe what you’re describing in #3 is LIFO (Last in, first out). As in, the last people who were hired to the company (23 year old engineers) are the first to be shown the door.
We had a pool at one point when I was a kid, and those same homemade eardrops were the first thing to pop to mind.
Didn’t realize they started so low. Just addressing the other poster’s question about needing money to open one.
I honestly don’t know. I only know about secured credit cards because I came out of college with no credit score and had to explore my options. I think the key is to get a credit card while you’re a student just to establish the history (they give them out a lot more freely in the student age range). I thought I was…
