If you’ve never seen Dark City before, do yourself a favor and make sure you watch the director’s cut. The theatrical cut opens with a narrator telling you exactly what’s going on which spoils a lot of the plot. Switched from Chrome to Safari (iPhone) a couple years ago and haven’t looked back. Having proper ad-blocker integration alone was enough to get used to a different UI. All of the above is just gravy at this point.

The directors cut is a must though for first time viewers. It kills the opening exposition that essentially explains everything and lets you figure it out along with the protagonist.  It’s so much more mysterious and satisfying.
