The right doctor makes all the difference, i really lucked out with our guy..other friends had a different doc (Canadian here so our programs are run somewhat differently than yours i imagine, one clinic, one set of docs, etc), who was coincidentally also a woman and she was just awful, (not a dig against women docs,…

Lovely, and yes fingers crossed! My doc was great too, really kind with a wonderful sense of humour that i greatly appreciated during those very stressful months.

Even funnier is the fact that a very close friend went to the same fertility doctor and had a successful pregnancy..when we really wanted to freak people out we would casually mention that we were both knocked up by the same man while our husbands read magazines in the corner ;)

I often told people that my husband was in corner reading a magazine when i conceived….the looks were priceless (IVF of course :)

We have already had a brutal run of winter here in Alberta (we have already had -40) and i can vouch for my Canada Goose Kensington Parka, Merry Christmas to me!!
