It’s the difference between service-model unionism and organizing model unionism. Guys like him cut deals. They don’t organize.

Agree with a lot of what you said. Unionizing alone isn’t enough, but it isn’t just the leadership that needs to become militant- it’s the membership. The members are the union.

Unless they have a teaching credential, they aren’t qualified to teach k-12. They could intern and take credentialing classes at night.
