You know the LA school district has $1.8 BILLION in reserves, right?

Few charters outperform public schools. The majority perform the same, or worse. Considering the way they use often illegal methods to cherry pick students, you would think they would be doing much better.

I was a new teacher when I became aware of Arne Duncan, and watching what he did in the Obama administration was what made me start questioning the Democratic party.

I’m pretty sure it’s illegal for charter schools to require volunteering for entry or to give preference to families who volunteer.

Looks like your state does have a different system. In CA I got a cosmetology license and then apprenticed. Salons here cannot provide the training for licensing, only advanced training.

You need a cosmetology license before you can enter a salon apprenticeship, at least in the US. I apprenticed in a high end salon years ago. I spent a certain amount of time assisting and a certain amount of time in classes.

I’m a year older than him, and yeah.
