Parks season one was only six episodes, and the general consensus is that only five were bad. A lot of shows have bad first five episodes tbh, New Girl also made a comeback after a weak first season and made the most boring character (Nick) into a fan favourite.

The start is bad but the middle is okay I guess. About the same quality as Flash seasons 2 or 3, if you're watching for Defenders get it over with, but if you're watching it as a separate show not worth it.
