nah, most of the singers in hair metal and glam bands could actually sing. the choruses for a lot of the hits would get pretty sing-songy by design, but the front men had huge range and good clarity. when you got into the grunge bands of the early to mid-90's you got a lot more non-singers doing the vocals as kind of

yes and no. you’d have to have either something very coordinated, be depending on a couple people just straight up not doing their job, or be stealing something small enough to conceal it on your person (which means you’re risking a good job for $5).

For example, when I worked at a Honda plant 15 years ago all the blem

except she doesn’t have an issue with Israel existing or Jews in general. She has an issue with Israel’s dismal human rights record, their continued occupation of certain territory, and the policies put in place by their hardline conservative government.

I took Amtrak from DC to Pittsburgh last fall and had a great experience with it. I was coming home from a bicycle tour and the logistics of the train made it significantly easier than flying or driving home with a rental car.

For starters, the train ride started and stopped from city centers so getting to and from the

similar story here. my older brother had serious mental health issues. He struggled with drug addiction and bounced between jail, homelessness, halfway houses, and my parents place a couple times. He was staying at a halfway house after a recent jail stint. He finally had a caseworker that decided his mental health

Right, but sedan sales are getting hit harder than SUVs and Crossovers. Honda for example idled the Accord plant last summer. My point is that if the class leading products aren’t selling it means the market segment is struggling quite a lot.

FWIW, I had to retake the written portion of the driving exam the last time I moved states. I even almost failed the test to be honest. I missed a couple questions about legal limits and the specific penalties for drunk driving.

sedan and small car sales are way down. even Toyota ad Honda are feeling the pinch. accord, camry, civic, and corolla all sold less in 2018.

High labor costs relative to what? Assembly workers at GM plants see comparable wages to those at the transplant foreign OEMs and the bankruptcy allowed GM to ditch the legacy costs that had previously been holding them back.

American workers are being paid more than Asian or Mexican laborers. I’m not seeing the

My town opted to start their own fiber-optic service a couple years ago. It took them a year to build out the network, it’s roughly revenue neutral for the city (revenue exceeds costs on paper but doesn’t include the initial cost of the buildout), I pay $30 a month for reasonably fast internet speeds, AND it’s forced

Health insurance and life insurance.

Survivability for a motorcycle accident might be higher than that thing’s impending failure.

I don’t know how much the Mormons really influenced the national office other than the bullshit exclusionary membership policies they put in place. I was a scout in the 90's and our troop focused on youth leadership, civics, and outdoor activities. It might have been different for other troops.

Former boy scout here. I’m not going to deny that the BSA had some fucked up policies in place at the national level when I was a scout, primarily because of the large influence wielded by the mormon church. That said, the overall quality of the program was largely decided by the local Troop’s leadership.

In a perfect world I wouldn’t have to care about his life choices. if he gets maimed that’s on him. but this isn’t a perfect world. Stupidity has a social cost attached to it. Please forgive us for at least laughing about the reason our insurance rates keep climbing.
