I kind of want to swap the early 90s bmw 3 liter v8 into my e30 (but everything I’ve read said the 4L is waaay better in every way)

You could do a "sensible and equivalent for TCO (including repairs)" used options section. That totally solves the wagon situation (and overcomplicates everything else) (and opens you to even more criticism)
haha this is like a list of bucket cars for me - aw11, eagle, corrado
star for the master troll. well played sir
I am a year ahead of you, 30 is getting way too close for comfort. I don't have a ferrari but I do have copious amounts of hair (and 8 vehicles in various states of disrepair!)
Ha, near identical car sitting in the driveway, and a full suspension refresh sitting in the garage. For 2 months now.
I had a 91 for about 6 months until the motor blew up. the manual steering was a revelation. I've been riding motorcycles for 10+ years and I loved the similar level of feedback you get. I have an e30 now and one of the first mods im doing (after rebuilding the suspension,) is power steering delete...
Progressive as long as you're white. It is weird with how diverse every other big city in texas is...
Wedding =( I missed the GT3 cup last year (skipped Saturday,) because I didn't know about it, the group I went with was raving about how awesome it was. I was going to just go saturday this year until...wedding
and its not in black or white *drool*
There is one in my neighborhood I pass everytime I walk the dogs. Looks like it was just driven off the lot. My wife thinks I'm crazy for drooling over it
The previous-previous owner of my 325 stripped the AC out to prep for this. Kind of sucks right now in the texas summer
my 89 grand wagoneer is blatantly an SUV and has 200+ hp. On a good day. downhill. and with a tailwind. SPORT!
There is an 86 (birthyear which my wife argues makes it more appealing!) 535i stickshift on CL by me. Interior is shot to shit, but runs decent, body is pretty good shape (straight, minimal rust, needs paint eventually.) Only issue is a lost title. Lots of paperwork there. $500. NPOCP?
This was going to be my suggestion too. Rideapart/hellforleather already covers a ton of what has been mentioned. I love oppo for all the weird stuff and reviews of random 80s/90s japanese cars. Need that for bikes...
My old bike had straight pipes on it (bought it that way and was too poor to find an exhaust, sold it because it was annoying. New pipe is muffled and great.) I will say that people noticed me a hell of a lot more than on any other bike i've owned/ridden.
I used my silverado for a pallet of sod a few years back, had to have been a few thousand pounds
My wife has an X3 that is a total dog without sport mode on, you physically shift to the sport gate (it stays in auto mode unless you use the manual shifting.) I actually like that way best after having two cars with it
YES - I currently have 4 cars. Next one is going to be a lambo!
Got our lemons manta for $650 with a spare engine and almost a whole body. Its a stick too. Granted it needs work, but after learning/seeing a lot about these cars, you should be able to restore one for half the price (albeit a lot of labor)
