There are pings in HoS as well. Chat is pretty useless with the ping system in HoS much like LoL.

Another vote for Heroes of the Storm. I am terrible at LoL to the point I hated playing from anxiety. With Heroes, it's very easy to learn and a ton of fun.

Used to be a guy on the server I played on that used auto-tune all the time and was a chatty mofo to boot. He also had the red collector's version of what seemed like every default weapon in TF2.
