Snow tires. Yup, I’m a convert. 2012 Ford Focus with snow tires gets through most west Michigan winter weather. Driving the same car with the all seasons in snow, trac control warning regularly pop up. With the snow tires, almost never.

Awesome story! You could post a realtor listing for one of the times it was for sale if the listing exists. Another poster did for their childhood home in Florida that was the subject of their story.

Didn’t they adjust the exhaust to sound like a Harley on those?

“It’s the best way to get a sense of what is out there without having to stop at 10 dealers and the pain of dealing with their salespeople as you try and look around.” - This, so much this. The last time I went to COBO for the NAIAS was 2003, right before I bought my 03 Escape. I was able to sit in and feel the

After a quick check on KBB, this is way overpriced for age and mileage. There are newer, consumer based models going for $6k-$9k without all the police pieces hanging out in the middle.

Burley Bee Bike Trailer. Bought it for family bike rides. Which we did that first summer of pandemic about a dozen times. But now neither kid fits it and we haven’t gone on a family bike ride since that summer. $300 for a trailer used one season. I know resale on them is good, but wish we had bought it years earlier

Should not have taken this far down for someone to reference the Duke boys. Have my star.

Yes, I’ve used the trade-in program several times to upgrade mine and my wife’s Kindles over the years. Amazon has also thrown in an additional $25 “gift card” on top of the trade-in value at times. Mind you, depending on how old the device is that you’re trading in, you may not get much, but every little bit helps.

Caveat to number 10 (calibrate display)...doesn’t work when connected to a projector instead of a TV for display. The phone in front of the screen causes a shadow where the camera is trying to read the information.

Not even ashamed to say that my wife and I wrote a letter 6 years ago when buying our home. I’m a little ashamed to say that we thought of it after watching a home buying show on HGTV, but we definitely did it. We love the home. We knew the older couple selling it had loved the home and raised their family in it. And

Wait, the cracking ISN’T the window breaking?

Our daughter was a crier/screaming when it came to rinsing out her hair. Bath would be fine, washing everything else would be fine, rinsing everything would be fine until the hair. We have a detachable shower head and bringing that down would bring on the tears. She’d be fine AFTER the shower, but during was rough.

David, now I want the story of you and Brent driving manual ZJs on Woodward together!

First thing I noticed.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw the Ridgeline.

Heated steering wheels and heated/cooling seats.

starred for “asshattery”. hell no, do I want video evidence of the bullshit my friends and I did.

It still would have been helpful to understand WHY a dual bowl system is the norm on modern cars and why that type of replacement is available for classics.

I think I’m most impressed with the interior on the one you found. That’s how you prep a car for sale.

Nice. Now if I could get the “Auto-Lock” setting to be a shortcut on the home screen, or better yet, automatically switch my Auto-Lock based on location, that would be even better. Since quarantine in my state in the U.S. I’ve been using the “Scan&Shop” option in the app for my local grocery store. This allows me to
