I've tried reading comics digitally before. I couldn't stand it. Ink and paper really bring out the illustration. This is why paper books still reign despite having e-readers for 10 years now.

I think within the context of Owen's examples, he's quite right. Assassin's Creed and Dante's Inferno have very little to do with religion, only riding on historical events paired with religion and it's shaky at best. Assassin's Creed is more akin to a Dan Brown novel who couldn't miss the point farther of the subject…
