And you just know that he’s still butt-hurt from Biden telling him to shut up. I’d wager that his campaign people had come up with a carefully crafted, focus grouped insult line for him to invoke that would only work in a face-to-face, live debate.

As if it wasn’t abundantly clear that his only strategy going into a debate is to be the loudest, most annoying person in the room.

Trump is a coward so he’s making this as a strategic move. He (and his team) saw how poorly he did in the first debate and realize that Pence’s performance against Harris will be the best the campaign can muster.
