Observations like this sort of make that seem more likely, don’t they?  You’d think that if things were as nice and neat as we like to believe, we’d see a pretty uniform universal expansion...but here we are.  There’s all sorts of observations of the universe that don’t seem to fit typical modelling in which the math…

We’re always trying to tie things up into a neat little knot; say “this is how the universe works, no exceptions” but...what if things aren’t as neat and nice as we like to think?
