Not really. Basic income will only cover your most basic needs. It will be only enough to dissuade you from robbing and stealing to fulfill your most basic needs for food and shelter. But you will still need to work to purchase extra stuff and achieve some social status above that of what’s now a homeless person.
Because of impulse buying, and because of your readiness to pay slightly more for stuff or accept lower quality that’s at hand, than to go after a cheaper / better quality product.

Only if he’d done nothing. But the US is and has been for the last 4-5 decades actively instigating conflicts all over the world for political and economic interests. Its president is the last man in the world who should be getting a peace prize that’s worth anything.
