Having seen the episode, having read recap and comments, my conclusions are these: Artie gets bronzed in the last episode, to prevent him doing damage, and Deb replaces Leena as Warehouse Tender. Then somebody (brother data? Pete? Steve?) takes Artie's place as boss.

I agree, but all the cliches we have had to endure point to this. Sadly no-one considers that in a situation like that american democracy rules do not (and cannot) apply: it's martial law for everyone, if anyone wants to survive.

And here I was, hoping that Blonde Female Protagonist Whatsername was some sort of harnessed with an invisible harness alien double agent which blackmailed Pope so he couldn't give her away... so when BFPW spills out her BIIIIG secrete, I'm all: "Yeah, so what? How does this compare to an ALIEN INVASION??"

Sounds to me they are going exactly in that direction, with the sneaky politics and ethical problems, all more important than the fact that aliens have invaded earth..

Maybe the french is correct (but the old same line: "Anybody has any francs?" "Euros...." what the hell? We've got this currency since 2002 and you still have to make a joke like that?) but the italian made me cringe, oh absolutely cringe.

I don't have much to add to the comments on this episode apart from the fact that as soon as I saw Jamil and Lourdes chit-chatting I thought: "Ok one of 'em is dead". I was hoping for Lourdes, instead you kill off the one tech savy guy in the group. It's like you killed McGuyver or something.

The Overlord did say to Tom at one point that if they really wanted them dead, they would already be dead. That's the only part of this episode I can agree with.

I am committed to this show, for the only reason there is not much more to watch these days, and also because I love commenting on an ongoing series with fellow geeks across the atlantic.
