I know, right? Even the racist trolls here are noticeable by their absence today. I hope they’re having the first of many miserable days.

I’m gonna take this opportunity to be a wet blanket and remind everyone that this is not over. There’s no going back to normal, and no one should be resting or bored. Time to get to work fixing everything.

While the chaos and the immediacy of the pending disasters are receding, people need to maintain a reasonable level of engagement with our representational democracy. We still have to vote, volunteer and donate. We still have to lobby our various legislators. We still have to pay some attention.

Your sobering and accurate observations notwithstanding, I will enjoy the next 24 hours at least and call this A Good Day, because tomorrow for the first time in 1460 days, I will not wake up wondering what fresh hell is being put before us by Commander in Squalid-Dollop-of-Human-Bile.

Unkillable, inexhaustible and always saving this godforsaken shit-show from turning into a tragedy.

Truly, the cherry on top of this sunday is knowing what a shitty day all of the maga chuds are having.

Those 2.5 million COVID CRISIS ACTORS were just angry that they couldn’t get some George Soros money to lay down and bleed as school shooting crisis actors.

I’m not sure what this says about me and/or the state of our society, but I read through these initiatives and felt this huge sense of pride, like “Yes dammit! This is progress!!!”

They should be removed period. General discharge because ties to such groups goes against the mission. I haven’t looked at the USMJ lately but such behavior should result in a court-martial.  

Also, seeing as multiple states seceded and the civil war happened, it factually was not a durable union.
