Begs the question: If you could have super powers, the only condition being (odd and arbitrary as this admittedly is) you have to have really shitty hair; would you do it?
Yeah, but they can fix that by having NASCAR run a race in the opposite direction.
Then he can sing a little song about hobbits!
Hi nerds, 5/4 is Dave Brubeck day.
But Cobra Kai actually manages to bring them into a more real world setting
There’s still time for Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan to come into the mix! Chan’s not even named Miyagi, they don’t need to use the multiverse!
This show shouldn’t have worked. The original movies are objectively silly as hell, with some of the most cartoonish villains you’ll ever see (but somehow edgelords have felt the need to insist are actually the heroes for decades now). But Cobra Kai actually manages to bring them into a more real world setting and…
You think that’s bad, try putting up with Attack on Titan
No! Everything must be easily digestible and exactly like something I’ve seen before!!
I get the L&T hate, I just don’t buy into it myself. It went out there much more than Dark World did, and it had some emotional beats land (not that DW didn’t; they got Frigga’s death and the fallout for that right even if the rest of the movie was mid). He looks like William H Macy doing a Nick Cave cosplay.
Star Trek TNG Sesason3:
“And “People round these parts don’t like uncomfortable truths.”? No, it’s mostly a pretty level-headed bunch of commenters here.”
The show can be both horrible AND a lightning rod for bad faith racists at the same time!
I just watched it, it wasn’t bad at all, some pretty good lines actually.
It feels like almost a million years ago, watching Jon Stewart make one last desperate plea on the eve of the 2004 election for voters to please make his job harder. Comedy was great under Bush, but imagine how boring it could have been under Kerry.
I mean, he could keep his cunt mouth shut?
That’s true of a lot of musicians who ostensibly “lead” bands eventually. They just want to go off and do their own thing without having to answer to anybody.
