It’s absolutely infuriating how many great comedies were robbed of their chances by pushing “The Bear”, an absolutely non-comedy, in the “comedy series” category.

The Mule doesn’t show up until halfway through book two of the trilogy, so that actually tracks.

If you’re going to hire a decent score writer, it better be Bear McCreary or Dan Romer. 

The Bear is a lot of things , but comedy series it is not,

I just checked and it’s not new. It’s new to me, though, and I also find it adorable.

It seems pretty generous to call it an apology. “It was a joke!” with a side of “sorry if anyone was offended” might technically reach the lowest apologetic  bar, but it’s on its tip-toes.

Yeah, it’s Herzog. Calling it “hell” isn’t necessarily an insult coming from him. 

Generally you’re right, but I think it could have worked here with better execution. If you made the long term story about the world and humanity as a whole’s attempts to rebuild and maybe solve the mystery of the zombies. 

It may just be a personal quirk, but the character I found most compelling was the... proto-orc...? that we knew very little about.* When I found out the actor wouldn’t be returning I lost a lot of interest in the series.

If there is a God, then He created Barbieland out of anger. The dream houses portend nightmares and agony. In Weird Barbie’s eyes I see only a blank stare that speaks of a half-bored interest in fashion.
