You’d have to cite some examples then, because I’ve seen a lot of stuff from Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, etc. and mostly the problems lie in other aspects of the show and that should be the focus and priority of any discussion well before bringing up casting choices.
