I honestly think it would have made a better video game. In fact, with similar animation style, music, and voice acting, it could have been a really good video game. Like a new generation of the old LucasArts adventure games.

I also whole-heartedly recommend The Expanse. IIRC the first season has a bit of politics to digest but after that it became the best sci-fi series I’ve ever seen. I’d argue it’s the best sci-fi/military show ever made. So much so it inspired me to read books 7, 8 and 9 (I’m half-way through). I haven’t done that…
It’s what new Star Wars content looks like apparently.
No one mentioned burning books (though IIRC that’s what Yoda did in TLJ).
Eh, I know this show has its fans for the reasons already given, but it just wasn’t my thing.
“No one knows who I am, no one likes my film, and they think I’m Jeff Daniels.”
You keep bringing up one aspect of representation, i.e. that the amount of representation in Hollywood is/should be equivalent to the population of that minority in the US.
FWIW, you just try using the appropriate pronoun or word when it’s appropriate. And if you make a mistake (as we all do) and are politely corrected, then you know better for later.
Apple are now trolling you.
How about they stopped adding characters when they got equal rights?
It’s already gold-pressed.
I agree, though AV Club misses a lot of shows to review weekly (RuPaul’s Drag Race anyone?).
Just the last bit? They start with “Contemporary media does not have a representation problem.” which is arguably needlessly antagonistic.
If your thumb looks like Kevin Spacey, consult your doctor.
Racism.
Furries.
Wait, what? We’re trashing the John Wick series now?
The point being all Christmas specials are better than the Fantastic Beasts movie. I know the book wasn’t a novel, but the movie was overlong, indulgent, Harry Potter-verse drivel, so it’s a low bar to clear for Doctor Who.
Yeah, Doctor Who has always been science fantasy, never “pure sci-fi” or hard sci-fi.
You mean the Fantastic Beasts movie from Rowling’s book?
