The idea that Tarantino films will still be regularly screened 200 years from now, like works of Beethoven are performed now, is a bit funny though.

The 10 films thing could possibly be related to how Beethoven wrote 10 symphonies (not completing the 10th), so some artists think they should only make 9 or 10 “great works” in homage to Beethoven or something.

Strange New Worlds gets the Star Trek feeling right for the most part because they write it like past Star Trek series. The big budget effects are just a cherry on top.

I hate the Chibnall era with a passion, but I think it was either stated or implied that The Doctor is still a Time Lord, just not an indigenous Gallifreyan (i.e. Shobogan).

It’s been years since I saw the movie, but I think there was some tale of the witch who would make kids stand in the corner, so then when the people in the movie find the house (that just seemingly appears out of nowhere), go inside, upstairs, past all the children’s hand prints on the walls, and then go downstairs…

Was it in the recent Hot Ones that Conan said something about doing a show and trying to keep the audience’s energy up and positive, but some of the guests he had on would do the “amateur” move of saying when they thought things “weren’t going well” which would bring the audience’s mood down?
