He reimbursed taxpayers more than $1,200 for a private plane to a Chicago Bears game? That's a cheap private plane ride... I might do that more often.

Correct.

I'm a highly qualified expert in this field in that I watch motogp... I like to think they do it to get a little more weight over the front on turn in but who really knows. I've tried it at a track day before and I was very uncomfortable doing it.

My only experience on track is on a bike and on Xbox 360 Forza 4 (I know, I only have old games) so take my advice for a grain of salt... and with a PDK/DSG, shifting might not be as much of a problem since its so smooth and quick. With a manual though, I would rather not have to downshift while trailbraking on corner

It's mostly likely geared that way so when you're on the track, you won't be shifting a thousand times. The car will stay much more stable staying in one gear, which will help to make a slightly faster lap. Wouldn't it be annoying to be changing gear ALL the time just so you accelerate a hair faster?

I've seen this happen to a truck in front of me that my friends were in. Deer jumped out of the woods and ran directly into the side of the truck and then limped off into the woods where my friend proceeded to track him down and finish him off with a hammer..... Wild night for me!

Definitely a jab at Ferrari. And they knew it was coming. They already had this poster at the show, ready to go up. They didn't make an emergency call from Geneva to design, print, and ship a new one overnight early enough to be installed by the start of the show that day. Ford's marketing guys have balls!

Doug, How can us local Jalops find out about stuff like this? I would have loved to watch a Hummer crush a PT Woody Cruiser!

Doug, I live in the Philly area, hopefully I'll get a chance to see the Skyline out this summer! Keep us posted on where we can come check it out!

Hell yes to all of them!

Just outside Speedway? Like where? I465?

Great spot mate!

Just like everyone else... I'm confused...

Link to his Instagram no worky. I checked on the app and I can't find him either.

I worked at an Infiniti dealer in 2008 and their system pulls up ALL history related to the VIN number. ANY work performed (customer pay or warranty) at ANY Infiniti dealer in the country was recorded and we could see it.

True. Most race cars have speings that pull the pad off the rotor to reduce friction on straights to gain slightly higher mph. Before the braking point the driver must pump the pedal so the pads are back close to the rotor. Isn't so much a "check" as it is a necessity.

I just saw an e30 wagon on Craigslist in the Philly/South Jersey section for $9500

Love all of your articles Doug. Every time I see you wrote it I get excited. And the times I don't see who the author was, as I'm reading I think, "This has to be Doug" and it always is! Keep up the good work!

Passenger not rolling the joint - "Why am I under arrest?"

I didn't know Patrick but a procession like this for a car guy is so cool. Much respect and many prayers go out for Patrick and his family.
