December 7th is also my birthday and one year my grandma sent me a postcard that had a black and white picture of boats on fire in Pearl Harbor and on the other side she wrote Happy Birthday. I was like 13.

I met him at a charity fundraiser once. Even though he was the guest of honor he didn’t have any big intro or anything. He just sort of casually walked in and stood in the corner with his beer. If he wasn’t 6’9” you wouldn’t have even noticed.

“I have the worst birthday ever,” she tried to play it off. “My husband calls it the international day of sadness...It was my birthday first.”

It’s almost as if the same people who pay the GOP are the same people who pay the DNC. The DNC doesn’t want a Sanders or Warren win, just like they fought tooth and nail for Sanders to stay down in 2016.

A “good boss/owner” is still a boss/owner, and as a boss, their interests are inherently opposed to those of workers. They’re always going to want more from you, and to give you less for it. It has nothing to do with them, or you, personally, but the structural positions you each occupy.
