Any similar photos of Cam’s 4-so-far sacks?

I become that old guy that says, get off my lawn!

Even if untrue, it’s comments like this that could lay complete waste to the Panthers’ approval ratings!

I have not pirated The Witness, mainly because I don’t need another distraction. But, if I were to consider getting it, it would probably be through pirating.

I don’t envy whichever intern got sicked onto transcribing Palin’s ramblings...

So, do all Gawker sites consider such things before posting mugshots? As in, Gawker included?

Sure, but one could be forgiven for correctly stating that the portion of footage that was included in the gif was not goose-stepping and that maybe, just maybe, the paper was wrong to identify it as such.

Hey a question I can answer!

You definitely don’t understand. And that’s ok, some people just can’t comprehend certain things.

You didn’t understand my comment, so I’ll point out, I didn’t focus on “competition,” I highlighted “competition” as a part of a performative action. By describing it as a “competition,” I’m making clear that the performance involves multiple agents and not simply a performer and observer. The VR suicide involves only

I don’t even care if your point is to refute mine or what. That is HILARIOUS! Haha!

Well, if you’d actually read my comment, you’d see we’re in general agreement.

Self-inflicted gunshots are different from gunshots inflicted by others because of the differences in agency involved.

Seriously. Did they just grab those guys off the street outside the closest sport’s bar?

I didn’t say the option shouldn’t be available. I said the consequences should be harsher.

There is a massive difference between watching an avatar jump off a cliff and watching an avatar turn its gun on itself. Especially with the knowledge that someone controlling that avatar didn’t have to actually jump off a cliff to get the avatar to do that, but they did have to mime putting a gun to their head.

It’s the trauma of subjecting others to your suicide that deserves an extra punishment. Especially when that suicide is not about standing next to an explosion or hurdling one’s self off a cliff, but actually turning one’s gun onto one’s own head.

I have roughly the same amount of experience with recent VR technologies as you do, but I guess you’ll win on that front because I don’t list such personal information about myself using my Burner.

You sound like you’ve never used one for any significant amount of time...

There is something viscerally different to using an explosion too close to one’s avatar and the act of moving one’s arm in such a way that the gun is pointing at one’s own head. And the experience of VR, which is an almost total experiential immersion (if you haven’t yet had the opportunity to try a system out, I
