As an HIV+ person, I''m really happy people have these examples I've missed. Thanks for that. I need to find and watch that episode.

Dear Dumbbutt,

You're right. But her son and her former lover both died of full blown AIDS. So I count her in the AIDS related story tally. But she was also the only character on American TV to return not dead or dying. There was the last season of Brothers and Sisters too where the older guy apparently had HIV for 17 years or

I always thought the heaven in the Robin Williams movie 'Where Dreams May Come' was my personal hell. You have to spend it with your family? In a shitty impressionistic painting? No, thank you. Being a screaming head in their hell looked way better.

No, never. HIV+ people on US shows are generally only shown sick, miserable, always having the suspicion of ZOMG they're about to EXPLODE into FULL BLOWN AIDS cos they have a cold hanging over them, or in full blown AIDS mode. Never the healthy sexually active people they more likely are.

Who else knew uptight computer nerd boyfriend tested positive as soon as his phone call screen was staged in blue? That was so telegraphed.

I know, right? Every time those girls said that (and I give the show props for repeating a dirty line four times (?)) my brain catalogued all the beautiful penises I've touched.

best pun account in awhile.

I'd rather see aziz ansari cock. just saying.

How is that racist? Do you even know what reproductive coercion is? It's when a man bullies/emotionally abusive his partner to force her to carry the pregnancy. That has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the fact that Adam is a controlling jackass. Your response makes me think you're incredibly stupid.

I''m almost entirely sure it's not Chris' diet and extreme fitness that makes him susceptible, but that he has had legitimate immune system issues since he was a kid.

ah, thanks for that.

Or the super fucking hot (regrettably) Nazi guy got shot up with a needle full of AIDS blood and ended up in the AIDS ward plot.

ahaha. likely.

LOL, apt description.

I agree. Seeing disabilities in the gay community represented onscreen would be awesome.

I like him too and glad they include him in social events, but he's not gay :(

when Patrick stops acting like a 15 year old douche lol. He could be awesome if he just matured.

Dude, lots of people have dissected Patrick's behaviour logically without maligning the very real lived experiences of Autistic people. And, no, nothing indicates he's 'on the spectrum'.

I agree. I loathe Patrick, but that comment is vile.
