Yup QC, I’ve seen 2 cars come off the same transport with roughly the same options. One will be rock solid and the other will be a lemon. Not super common, but it happens enough that it’s not surprising.
Having worked for Subaru as a tech and at dealer/corporate level, I can tell you that Subaru is aware of their issues. Most of the time until recently their logic has been “It’s easier to replace the motor than fix the QC or redesign it”
My guy friends and myself are happy when a woman just blunty tells you “yeah, nah I’m not feeling it” or “I just want a fling” etc, but these basket cases create a case for “Yeah he might lose his shit if he takes it personally”.
