Found the AR-15 owner.

wow, really passionate here haha. and you make great points i didn’t notice when i made my cursory glance - and i agree with your anger at this!

I really hope that Toyota keeps up the trend of letting partner manufacturers do the development work for new platforms. Their partnership with Mazda has me hoping that we will get Lexus cars that drive like Mazdas. That would be a pretty good outcome if you ask me.

Exactly.  The new Corvette is great precisely because of the price/performance ratio. There are other great cars that do what the Corvette does, the Corvette just has its performance at a price point lower than the alternatives. Jack up the price by 50% and... nope.

Well no - but not from a lack of willingness to pay!

I started laughing at “absofuckinglutely”...well done. It’s shockingly clear that politicians (all of them) can’t help but make stuff up about/comment on things that they know nothing about, because they’ve apparently run out of the things they know very little about and need to hear themselves talk. Utter crap. I

“The Boom Overture, scheduled to enter passenger service in 2029, has an extremely impressive spec sheet.”

Blaine is a pain and that is the truth!

This.

I find this ironic that at this time residents of a solid red county are crying for more regulations from the government....

We also biased our product mix toward pick-up trucks and SUVs.

It’s important to point out that this last one has nothing to do with ATC, or the crew of the 757 (which was stationary). It’s 100% the fault of the tug crew towing the 787.

Fine, I’ll be that guy:

Exactly. If everyone who drove less than 30 miles per day switched to an EV and the jalops on here who drive 400 miles per day in 20 degree temps uphill both ways kept their ICE vehicles, climate change would be 1/2 solved.

Bathroom tiles! was exactly my reaction, too. It’s very reminiscient of 1960's elementary school lavatory design.

Many of the people who consider themselves recalcitrant suburbanites would quickly change tunes if they ever spent time living in urban centers. Once you’re there, you realize that contrary to alarmist/sensationalist accounts/reports, the streets aren’t filled with blight, undesirables and violence.

So, there’s a solution, but nobody wants that solution. The solution is, drive less. Start requiring neighborhoods to be built walkable, and on public transit routes. Start requiring new road projects to prioritize public transit. Override the NIMBYs who refuse to allow infill development in their neighborhoods

The coming age of EVs will only make things worse as the heavier cars are harder on consumer tires and brakes”

And some of them are incredibly childish, too!

Man I’m so tired of this garbage. I watched a YouTube video along these lines and the guy basically did an awesome, simple, three hour wash of his car... awesome, dude. You know what we have? Jobs, families, second jobs, etc... if I can run my car through what I consider a decent wash (to which I have a monthly
