MoviePass will learn that I can’t stand paying for the privilege of sitting in the dark with a bunch of rude strangers who reek of perfume and who won’t stop texting so I watch movies in the comfort of my living room.

The complicity of women in keeping their own down is always so depressing. Aunts (Handmaid’s Tale reference) exist everywhere and they are an insidious aspect of the patriarchy.
“decides that the younger secretary at work submits a little better.”
For a crowd that was terrified of the Muslim Brotherhood taking over the country, I heard a lot of talk about submitting to their husbands, abstaining from public forums, and dressing modestly and demurely from the CPAC videos I’ve seen posted on this site...
Much like anti gay politicians who suddenly are just fine with it when their son or daughter comes out, I imagine these women are a little less conciliatory when they find that the husband they’ve been submitting to all these years decides that the younger secretary at work submits a little better.
“submit to our husbands”
I would drive my husband nuts if I did that. You think HE wants to make decisions? If I’m ever mad at him, I’ll just “submit”. Oh, sorry honey, my tiny woman brain can’t decide what’s for dinner. I need a man-brain to make decisions.
Thank you, that guy’s comment history is atrocious. These are the people who think men are all animals and women are responsible for men’s behavior. I personally love banging dudes and am even capable of doing so without looking to them for validation and feeling bad about myself after sex.
You know that women actually enjoy sex just as much as men do, don’t you? I see your other evangelical apologist comments on this article, so maybe not. Sex is natural for both men and women, most people want and enjoy it, and there is no such thing as sin.
When people say “We survived Reagan, you’ll survive Trump” I like to remind them of the Reagan-led genocide of (primarily) gay men. So no...fuck you. We did not all survive Reagan. My generation (and some of the Boomers) lost the best and brightest of us all and we’ve never recovered from that loss.
I totally understand. These people are a danger to everyone with their anti-established science ravings. It’s a big worry of mine that we’re vulnerable to a major epidemic wiping out or handicapping a sizeable proportion of our kids polio-style because there are so many unvaccinated children.
I’m 55, and unless you’re over 50,
But God, Jesus made men, men. He made women, women, you know? And you’ve got to live the way God wants you to live.
What the ever living fuck are you talking about? The Greek system is 100% American. I’ve studied and taught at universities in the US, Canada, the UK, and China. There’s nothing like the Greek system anywhere outside the US. It’s a completely fucked up and uniquely American thing.
Where would the intelligence agencies go to groom their upcoming agents?
I think if they were all doing something together that would be different. In this case, the frat bros forced the pledges to drink heavily while they did not participate. Then when he fell down the stairs, they actively stopped people from helping him. To me, that is voluntary manslaughter since they actually stopped…
I’m sure that there are a ton of frat bros and sorority sisters who never stick toilet plunger handles into other people’s bodies (unless everyone involved is super into that) and do a ton of great stuff for the community and whatnot and it sucks that they get painted with the same broad brush, but it is what it is.…
That said, I hope they get pinned on other charges and have to carry that mark for the rest of their lives.
That’s simply not true, I’m sorry. The Greek system only exists in the USA. And while there’s definitely drinking/partying at universities all over the world, to various degrees, the culture is different. It’s not like *this.*
Occasionally, but their prices are too high. If I want to pay $40 for a pair of shoes I can find good ones in the clearance at Dillard’s or Macy’s. I think that’s their problem - they jacked up prices and the quality isn’t worth what they’re charging.
