I think you exemplify his whole point; there is nothing *tech news* about the article at all. Someone not employed by Apple, decided to computer generate some pictures about what his guess an Apple product might look like. Then they take this non-news and write a gushing story about how an unreleased Apple product

The wonderful thing of that philosophy is that there will always be someone who needs it more than you do. If you are living better than a starving ethopian child (and if you are posting on the internet you are) you are a hypocrite.

I think the opposite, if they let them in then all the other apps (Firefox) which have been denied entry because they are apps similar to native iOS apps have a reason to sue Apple. At which point either apple allows all those previously denied competing apps they don't want into the app store or Google maps doesn't

Actually you are wrong:

And of course you've held it to be able to make the decree that this screen is "perfect" right? You aren't just being an Apple fanboy with no actual experience, but you've held it and used it for awhile to come up with that perfect statement correct?

Not only that, if it's really 15feet tall and 20feet wide, the whole thing would be much more square rather than rectangular. Assuming the dimensions are the same for two fans side by side as they are top to bottom. At 15' tall for 2x fans, 6x fans would be 45' wide straight across; however visibly it's angled so

I think it's because this isn't the first time, previously she claimed that she got breast cancer because she drank bottled water that got hot in a car. Repeated outrages claims by high profile people do nothing but cause pain to others looking for actual answers.

Before doing tech I worked on a farm as a hired hand for years and years, grandpa had a farm, dad worked in a grain elevator, it's anecdotal evidence but it's my experience; but I think there is an interesting question if it really is less damaging to the environment. My SO and I go rounds on this topic, but I'm

I can sorta go with what you are saying but reality is a different beast... This is ultimately what the outcome of the Apple patent war is: proof that companies need to patent the most inane things possible. The most obvious actions: patented, the most obvious displays: patented, the most obvious interactions:

What you are describing is not the case here. A wall garden like apple ios means there is no other way to get an app onto the system. All that is happening here is that without installing anything else you'll have access to applications & games. You are still free to install whatever applications via steam,

I have to disagree with you as you are the one being arrogant. The converse of the "Journalists are often just as ignorant as the rest of the population" is: "Journalists are never as ignorant as the rest of the population" and I don't believe that journalists have some special anti ignorant gene, it is arrogant to

Logitech cyberman... worst one ever. Got it back when virtual reality was the rage and tried to "use" it with both games (doom) and a VRML environment... it sucked at both.

Because the complaint is that Apple hasn't told anybody about their security only to "trust them"... while BB has been open and actually proven it's security even to government agencies. In fact it's so secure that in a number of countries (China, UAE, India, etc) BB messenger was banned until the governments were

Kind of like Obama was a member of Jeremiah Wright's Church for years and years and then denouncing him as soon as people got pissy?

1) Actually, Ryan does not have a publicly stated position on his belief about global warming. The link only goes to a statement that he doesn't believe that cap and trade is the way to combat global warming... a very large leap between global warming doesn't exist and doesn't think cap and trade is a good fix

Except that carry-on luggage scanner < radiation than checked luggage scanner radiation level.

I've never really thought that it's literally H2O being key to life; but that a environment existing in a liquid state is key to life. That the way for different compounds to actually have an interaction is in a liquid state. Molecules in a solid state with no liquid may blend but they really stay separate,

A catapult used to fling a tiger is obvious but wonderfully subtle at the same time. They do such a good job of not pointing at the gag (i.e. hey lets load a cat into the *cat*apolt. har, har) instead just do it and move on; leaving the viewer to catch it the first time, notice it during a rerun or until someone else
