Considering your experience in the subject I’d be curious to know your impression of the rips brand floormats Mercedes uses in Germany. They’re usually around the equivalent of $60-120 depending on the car / size etc.

The 996 really jumps out as being incongruous, and the color doesn’t help here.

This. I have literally argued over floor mats when purchasing a car, because they are so expensive.

I just recently learned the etymology of the phrase “pig in a poke” which apparently references how livestock was sold in Ye Olden Days. A poke was in fact a bag that was used to carry young pigs to market. A derivative of the word poke is the small bag sewn into clothing which eventually became known as a  “pocket.”

Reason I voted CP was that you can get a Mercedes that’s more high end that needs a little bit of work/parts at purchase instead of this that will probably need something a few months down the line. Also the ridiculous blue interior is huge nope.

For years now, CarMax has been treating both buyers and sellers like children. Sale prices too high, but non-negotiable. Buying prices too low, and also never budge on those.
